Tillery Christian Academy
Who We Are
Tillery Christian Academy is an established private Christian school located on the campus of Memorial Baptist Church in Norwood, NC. Our purpose is to provide a sound Christian education for grades K-12. We strive to keep classes small, and to create a comforting environment. Tillery Christian Academy utilizes the Bob Jones curriculum and strives to meet North Carolina standards. We offer daily Bible instruction. We also offer art, music, PE, library, and clubs during our school day. Students attend chapel weekly at Memorial Baptist Church, led by the church's youth leaders. TCA offers EC services to students with an IEP, as well as enrichment services for students who are high-achieving.

Our Approach to Learning
TCA approaches learning with a blend of instructional approaches designed to provide a rigorous and caring learning environment that supports the overall growth of the child. Classrooms offer opportunities to investigate, problem-solve, engage in critical thinking, listen attentively, and apply strategies both independently and collaboratively. We believe that a combination of methods allows instruction to be tailored to fit learning objectives and individual learning styles so that students develop the skills needed for success in venues of higher learning and in twenty-first century society.
Hours of Operation
TCA operates from the second week of August until late May, ending right before Memorial Day. Our school day runs from 8:00am to 2:45 pm.
Tuition and Fees
Tuition at TCA is $550 per month for grades K-7, $580 per month for 8th grade, and $650 per month for high school. There is a nonrefundable application fee of $100 due when the application is submitted and a one-time per family enrollment fee of $500. Applications can be found online or picked up in the school office. We do accept the NC Opportunity Scholarships and the Education Savings Account grant. Before/After School Care
Before-school supervision is available beginning at 7:30am at no charge. We do not offer after-school care.
Transportation and Meals
TCA does not provide transportation to or from the campus. Students should bring a packed lunch, a snack, and a water bottle to school daily.
